Business Development Executive

The Role

 

Your responsibilities as a Business Development Representative will be to prospect and qualify opportunities with senior decision makers. This role will be part of a brand new team working on new projects and developing sales approaches for our prospects. You will be responsible for introducing Curlec to new prospects, identifying the client’s pains, uncovering opportunities, and growing our pipeline. This will entail researching and identifying relevant stakeholders in the sales decision-making process. The role will primarily be an outbound position to generate interest through prospecting, working on new sectors, and managing pipeline.

 

Curlec is still in the early stages of our growth and you will be joining a dynamic, small team giving you a huge opportunity to make an impact.

 

Requirements

 

  • An entrepreneurial mind-set with a hunger to succeed

  • Strong organisational skills to maximise output and to overachieve

  • Highly self-motivated and enjoy solving problems

  • Strong communication skills

  • Some experience in a sales or client-facing environment is preferable

  • Put your customers first and ensure their needs are at the forefront of our efforts

  • Comfortable working alone and in teams

  • Fluency in Malay and/or Mandarin is desirable
